The Music Imbizo is an international music business conference, exhibition and film festival. It is a platform to exhibit, network, share expertise and knowledge over six days whilst looking at ways to improve the music industry as a viable business entity in the continent.
The conference has grown to attract local & international speakers, musicians, brands, partners and sponsors. Past speakers include the vice president of Warner Bros Seymour Stein (USA), Monte Malone (MUSEXPO, USA), Audu Maikori (Chocolate City Group – Nigeria), Nasty C (Artist, South Africa), Professor Joseph Shabalala (Ladysmith Black Mambazo, South Africa), Master KG (Artist, South Africa) plus Keith Harris (Artist Manager: Stevie Wonder, UK) and many other distinguished industry professionals.

The Music Imbizo 2021 will be a virtual event hosted from Tuesday 24 August – Sunday 29 August. Themed: KUSHEREKA AFRIKA – YALIYOPITA. SASA. BAADAYE (CELEBRATING AFRICA – THE PAST. THE PRESENT. THE FUTURE) … interested parties are invited to submit films, music PLUS register for the HACKATHON and MOOT Court Competition to make the final programme. The closing dates have been extended to Friday 06 August.
