The fallen Amapiano superstar Mongezi Stuurman who was popularly known as Mpura Mpura was laid to rest on 17 August 2021 after his tragic passing in a car accident a week prior on the seventh on his way to a gig in Rusternburg.
Mpura Mpura as he was affectionately known to his fans lost his life alongside his friend and fellow musician Killer Kau in the unfortunate incident which claimed multiple lives.
He was laid to rest at the West Park Cemetery in Johannesburg.
