ABOUT OMEGA KHUNUO

Omega started singing at the age of 5 years. His Father’s Sunday School Church was the platform for that. At the age of 15 years, he was already playing a big role in the church & school choirs. In 2000 he moved to JHB and battled to find his feet for a year until 2001 when he got the opportunity to study music at Funda College in Soweto.

He studied there for 3 years and in 2004 he recorded two albums. In 2013 Omega finally got a breakthrough when he signed a deal with Spirit Music. He appeared on Spirit Of Praise Vol 3 performing the song “Hayo”. “Hayo” Latter became a very popular song, opening the doors for him to record his very first album (Hayo) with Spirit Music. He later recorded “Crossover” and collaborated with Neyi Zimu in “Friends In Praise”. He also performed hit songs “Entabeni/Udumo malube kuwe and Busa in Spirit Of Praise Vol 4 & Vol 5.
