As World Gospel Power House and Crown Gospel Music Awards, we are deeply saddened by the untimely passing of the South African Gospel legend Deborah Fraser, who has been part of our Gospel family. Her contribution to the industry has been significant and inspiring to the careers of many in the South African music industry, her loss is indeed a great loss in the industry.
Deborah has graced the Crown Gospel Music Awards stage with her beautiful voice over the years, and has won the first SABC Crown Gospel Music Award in the Best Female Gospel Artist category. Zanele Mbokazi the Founder and President of The Crown Gospel Music Awards said:
