Renowned South African gospel artist Ayanda Shange is set to release a heartfelt tribute song dedicated to the late gospel legend Vuyo Mokoena. Titled Wophelelaphi Na?, the song will be available on all digital streaming platforms from Friday, 28 February.
Announcing the release on social media, Shange shared an emotional message, quoting Acts 17:27:
“God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.”
He further expressed his excitement and gratitude for the tribute, writing,
“Wophelelaphi Na? was one of Bab’ Vuyo Mokoena’s biggest songs, but boy oh boy, didn’t we (the team) nail it? 😭🔥🔥 Also, my worship mode has been activated—loya Ayanda Shange wakudala!”
