Celebrated gospel singer Xolly Mncwango has officially launched the Xolly Mncwango Foundation, a purpose-driven platform aimed at empowering the disadvantaged and inspiring individuals to dream beyond their circumstances.
Launching with Purpose: Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch
The foundation kicked off its mission with a Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch held at Universal Music Group, where guests dressed in pink-themed “Unusual Merch” to honour the cause.
Stories of Strength and Survival
The event featured inspiring testimonies from breast cancer survivors and informative sessions by medical experts, including Dr Nthabiseng Makgana, CEO of Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
Experts shared valuable insights on prevention, early detection, and treatment, encouraging open discussions around health, healing, and empowerment.
A Purpose in Motion
Speaking at the launch, Xolly Mncwango outlined the foundation’s vision to equip people with tools to overcome limitations, empower underserved communities, and create educational opportunities that foster growth and purpose.
“This is not a charity. This is a purpose in motion. Our mission is to empower individuals, educate communities, and restore dignity through faith, support, and opportunity,” she said.

“A child with a book becomes an adult with a vision, and a child with support becomes a leader with purpose,” Mncwango added.
